ASSUR 2 ALPES, insurance for your holiday…
Make the most of insurance tailored to any amateur summer leisure or sports activity that can be undertaken in Les 2 Alpes, except for any aerial sports including paragliding, bungee jumping, the use of motorised terrestrial vehicles, mountaineering, for which access is included in the issued pass.
For 2.70 € per day, ASSUR 2 ALPES provides insurance
for the following situations:
1. Rescue and initial medical transportation expenses:
ASSUR 2 ALPES covers and refunds search and rescue expenses in the area (helicopter included), as well as medical transportation to the nearest medical centre, up to the actual amount paid, but limited to 15,245 €.
2. Repatriation assistance within geographical €ope.
3. Reimbursement of the ski/MTB pass and ski/snowboard lessons following an accident:
For day ski/MTB passes: Assur 2 Alpes reimburses the ski lessons and pass (up to 305 €), if the accident occurs before 2:00pm or during the first half of the pass validity period, upon production of a transportation receipt provided by resort rescue staff.
For 2-day and over ski/MTB passes: Upon presentation of an appropriate medical document, Assur 2 Alpes refunds the insured but unused days and lessons, starting on the day after the accident.
In the event of the medical repatriation of an insured family member to their home or to a medical centre close to their home address: Assur 2 Alpes reimburses the weekly ski passes of other insured family members who accompany the casualty or have to cut short their holiday, up to a maximum of 765 €.
4. Refund of ski/MTB passes and ski lessons due to sickness or force majeure:
Sickness must be justified by a hospital stay - Force majeure implies being forced to end one's stay because of a death (ascendant or descendant) or serious damage to one's home, etc.
5. Following an accident, reimbursement of medical expenses, incurred at the resort or in the nearest healthcare facilities, which are not covered by public and private health insurance schemes:
Up to 200% of the standard health insurance rate, 50% of the actual expenses for splints, orthopaedic vests, forearm crutches, etc. (even if not covered by a health insurance scheme).
Maximum insurance: 1,500 € for French nationals and 3,000 € for non-nationals. Excess: 40 €.
6. Poor weather insurance for ski passes valid for two days and longer, pro-rata reimbursement for unused skiing days resulting from the closure of over 80% of the slopes for a complete working day. Limited to 4 days per ski pass.
