ASSUR 2 ALPES

2.80€ a day for 1 to 4 days ski-pass, and 2.50€ a day only for 5 days & more ski-pass, ASSUR 2 ALPES provides insurance for the following situations:

1. Rescue and initial medical transportation expenses: ASSUR 2 ALPES refunds search and rescue expenses on the slopes (helicopter included), as well as medical transportation to the nearest medical centre, up to the actual amount paid but limited to €15,245.

2. Repatriation assistance within geographical Europe.

3. Refund of ski lift passes and ski/snowboard lessons:

• For day ski passes: Assur 2 Alpes refunds the ski pass and ski lessons (up to €305 if the accident occurs before 2:00pm or during the first half of the pass validity period) upon presentation of a transportation receipt provided by resort rescue staff.
• For 2-day and over ski passes: Upon presentation of an appropriate medical document, Assur 2 Alpes refunds the insured but unused days and lessons, starting on the day after the accident.
• In the event of the medical repatriation of an insured family member to their home or to a medical centre close to their home address: Assur 2 Alpes refunds the weekly ski passes of the insured family members who accompanied the casualty or ended their stay prematurely, up to an amount of €765.

4. Refund of ski passes and ski lessons due to sickness or force majeure:

• The sickness must be justified by a hospital stay.
• Force majeure implies being forced to end one’s stay because of a death (ascendant or descendant) or serious damage to one's home, etc.

5. Following an accident, reimbursement of medical expenses, incurred at the resort or in the nearest healthcare facilities, which are not covered by public and private health insurance schemes:

• Up to 200% of the standard health insurance rate, 50% of the actual expenses for splints, orthopaedic vests, forearm crutches, etc. (even if not covered by a health insurance scheme).

6. Poor weather insurance : pro-rata reimbursement for unused skiing days resulting from the closure of over 75% of the slopes for a complete working day.

7. Garantie manque de neige, le domaine skiable accessible par le titre de transports de l’assuré est fermé à plus de 50% pour manque de neige. L’assuré peut annuler son séjour et se voir rembourser son forfait en intégralité. Si il maintient son séjour, il sera indemnisé à hauteur du pourcentage moyen de fermeture du domaine skiable pendant la durée de son séjour. Exemple : le domaine a été fermé en moyenne à 65 %, son forfait lui sera remboursé à hauteur de 65 %.
